Anal retentive
You know that trick that you're told NICU nurses do with babies? The one where you use a rectal thermometer to gently stimulate the pooping reflex if need be?
Yep, we've had to go down that route twice now. I hate to see my little one straining all day and uncomfortable. I hope our little ones regularize themselves as they grow without such stimulation!
